hi bud ive been tryin to get on to the ford force forum ive followed all the instuctions still it says invalled user.anyway ive fitted the 1.8 in my motor but the idle is mega high can you or dave help on either of these probs cheers

o h ive still got the 1.6 ecu in cos of the bloody pats ive put a brand new idle control cost me £100 still no jioy :(the icsv the old one caused realy bad stuttering even when warm this is now sorted but it revs around 2000rpm when i stop it then settles at 1000rpm but it slightly erratic at this .when its ticking over its fine please help?if you disconect the idle control it runs fine my brother has a saphire cosworth he says they all do it on there cars and run them with no problems

check your tps - throttle position sensors resistance varies with
the sweep of the throttle, have you registered on the other forum? they are two seperate things you will need to register again
