Do It Yourself Window Tint, Misson Impossible
Lads, Dont Know if Any of You have tried this, But My advice would be STAY CLEAR,
An absolute Knightmare to fit, I was very close to putting My fist through the window, So Fiddley and annoying,
Ebay tell You how easy it is, What a load of cock and bull.
Has anyone atually Managed to Install this film tint to satisfaction?
Just a waste of time and money

When you have the template cut out and your film is cut to size... peal back the film and cover the sticky side with a weak mixture of water and a drop of fairy liquid, this allows movement when you push it on the window... when spot on... gradually push out all the water/liquid so its bubble and seam/line free.
Done a couple myself and they came out ok....

Re: Do It Yourself Window Tint, Misson Impossible
Cheers Dave.
I was Spraying the solution directly on to the window, Mine came cut to fit, I was trying to slide it into play, But it just diddnt work out,
Anyways, Going back to Your 1400 cvh change, You mentioned somthing about upgrading Your Rad so the car wouldnt over heat,
Im still running my 1400 with the 1.1 rad,
If I was to get a 1.6 rad, would I have any problems fitting? Bearing in Mind, My car was a singlepoint inj, Would the rad mounts need changing?
Do You recon it would be somthing I could do Myself, Ive done starters and dynamos before, But thats were My experiance ends

Re: Do It Yourself Window Tint, Misson Impossible
would be a better idea, Therads from the HCS and CVH are both different due to the inlet/outlets.
The HCS has them both on the same side of the rad, and the CVH has them either side of the rad

Would a 1400 cvh rad fit direct were the 1.1 rad was, I need to get the one four, coz like You said, The inlets are diff, thats why I have a modified pipe going from on side of the cvh, all the way across the front, to join up with the 1.1 rad

Gonna Measure them mate
Also Lads, I Installed those alloys, and they came lose as I was Driving, When I pulled up to examine, The nuts had embedded into the alloys, I couldnt ge a grip of them with the spanner, Had massive problems getting them off, let alone tightinting them back up, I had to angle grind into them just to remove them, Disaster!
took five hours just to get them off, Gutted,
I recon they were doggy when they arrived, I should of had a closer look!
£60 gone down the pan, Got 400 wat kenwoods to install 2morrow, parcel shelf job, Ive allready weighed up the crack, So I should have no problems with this.
Im still livin at home, So Im getting stick form the old man about messing with the car, He looked a bit puzzeled when I told him it was a project
Cheers

They must have the right center bore, pcd and offset. You would have to compare to see if they're ok

Re: Do It Yourself Window Tint, Misson Impossible
If all the above are ok, 15s should fit on without mods. Best tyre size for them to avoid scrubbing are 195/45/15. I've just looked up specs for the peugeot and ford fitments and they seem to be way off.
Make - Ford Model - Fiesta Mk 2-5 Year - 83 to 01 PCD - 4x108 Offset - 35 to 45 Bore - 63.4
Make - Peugeot Model - 206 Year - 98> PCD - 4x108 Offset - 20 to 25 Bore - 65.1
from www.alloywheels.com
Probably wouldn't bother trying to fit them if I were you. Needs new spigot rings and I think spacers.

Re: Do It Yourself Window Tint, Misson Impossible
just check that the pug wheels weren't fitted with spacers, if they were fitted with 10 - 20mm spacers they should be ok on a fiesta
195/50/15s sometimes rub and sometimes don't varies from car to car
as mark said best to go for 195/45s
