With the bosh Plugs, I couldnt realy notice any diff in acceleration, But the Car Is Smoother,

Dont know if this is normal for a 1.4, But I cant go above 40 in second gear, and its cryin out, My 1.1 did the same thing lol, Also, been noticing a delay in acceleration, Hence Why I changed the plugs,(also saw the opitunity to get preformance ones Very Happy ) if it doesent improve, Ill go to town on the leads, I just hope I havent got any vacum leeks

the delay is from the carb, and probably nothing you can do about it. Best is to clean the carb out with redex.
Since you have the 1.1 box still on, the only increase in speed in gear, is from the engine reving slightly hire than the 1.1
Your rev to speed ratio will still be the same. The longer the gearing the higher the speed to any given rev, compared to a shorter box that will increase acceleration due to shorter speed to rev range

you want a fuel cleaner suitable for carbs. Redex can be put in the tank, or at small amounts at a time - straight into the carb. less than 1/2 a tea spoon (take the filter housing off)
